Lawrence is still fucking the shit out of Tasha. Let that sit for a minute, picture how it ended at the end of last season. She’s calling him daddy and every thing; yup that’s how it’s going down!
Episode 1 picks up about two months after the end of season 1, with the break up of Issa and Lawrence. Issa is trying to show face, by not making it seem like she’s too stuck on Lawrence. Lawrence is playing the typical male role of having moved on and doing him. Besides smashing Tasha on weekends, I won’t giveaway much more of what he’s doing. Just know he’s doing some things…wait for the end of the episode! You won’t want to miss it, hint Issa get’s the last smirk.
Molly is still MOLLY…she may find her voice this season in terms of career and love. It seems as if it’s a BIG MAY though. In this episode, Molly is definitely put into a space that will force her to put up or shut up. It’s still to be seen if she will put up, she hesitant and unsure or insecure you could say. So there’s definitely more to be explored on the Molly tip, oh and she’s not dating right now.
What’s honestly great about this show and what you can expect from season 2, is that honest realness that connects directly to many of our lives. The struggle that’s displayed in the opening of the episode is a scene many, both men and women will be able to relate to. The way Issa and Lawrence are both handling the break up, WE’VE ALL BEEN THERE, WE’VE ALL PLAYED THAT ROLE AT ONE POINT. The tons of Black women that watch Insecure will wholly relate to the predicament that Molly faces and will be talking to the screen and looking with several side eyes. Get ready, because in episode 1 of season 2 there will be tons of OOOHHHH’s and YEAHHHH’s and definitely a few WHAT THE FUCKS. Trust me you won’t say WTF, you’re going to say What….The….Fuck.
